Beyond the Repair: Advocacy for Home Repair Equity

This session is a part of our 2025 Aging in Place Cohort series, but is open to all! This webinar, led by the Coalition's Strategic Partnerships & Research Director, will focus on how home repair program staff can enhance their advocacy efforts and utilize data and stories to drive change. We’ll also dive into actionable strategies for expanding impact, including how to:

• Incorporate the perspectives of those served by home repair programs to strengthen messaging and deepen stakeholder engagement
• Create compelling, data-informed fact sheets that resonate with funders, policymakers, and community partners
• Facilitate ongoing, meaningful conversations with stakeholders to keep aging-in-place issues visible and urgent

Attendees will leave with practical ideas and a deeper understanding of how to meaningfully elevate the voices and experiences of older adults and their home repair needs.
