Professional Bio
Jerry Zuniga, CAPS, CLIPP leads housing preservation strategy for Habitat for Humanity International, where owner-occupied preservation efforts represent the fastest growing and largest body of work across Habitat’s US affiliates in terms of households impacted. Jerry is an affordable housing professional with over 15 years of program strategy, design, and management. He has led housing stabilization programs for both Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity local chapters, delivering housing interventions to over 5,000 households.
He is a subject matter expert in Housing Rehabilitation and Home Modifications and is the co-developer of "Safe Home/Healthy Home", an elective course through National Council on Aging's (NCOA) nationwide Aging Mastery Program (AMP) that is delivered to community and senior centers nationwide. In addition to his board service with Coalition for Home Repair, Jerry serves on City of Fresno’s Mobile Home Rent Review Stabilization commission. Jerry is an inaugural fellow of American Society on Aging’s RISE program and has a passion for storytelling through his work as a professional photographer.
