Professional Bio
As Chief Operations Officer at WARM NC (founded as Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry) Kim oversees all aspects of the Homeowner Services Team, and Construction including application intake, case management, and performance improvements for WARM’s Traditional Services. She also manages
the Community Partner Program (CPP), facilitating collaboration with organizations to secure funding and referrals, enabling WARM NC to provide critical home repairs. This includes the Healthy Opportunity Pilot Program (HOP) and the HUD-funded Older Adult Home Modification Program, which was only awarded to 14 organizations nationwide.
Kim fosters key relationships with community partners to promote WARM NC mission and actively seeks new partnerships to expand WARM NC impact, ensuring homeowners receive the support needed to achieve safety, health, and independence.
She is a dedicated board member of the Pender Long Term Recovery Group and actively participates in general VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) meetings and Long-Term Recovery group gatherings, where she lends her expertise and support to the recovery efforts in multiple counties.
Prior to joining WARM NC, she held the role of Nuclear Service Director for Field Core (General Electric). In this capacity, she held responsibility for managing all contract staffing related to nuclear outages and new power plant start-ups across the continental United States and four other countries. Her diverse professional background underscores her commitment to making a positive impact in her community and beyond.
