Professional Bio
Emma Carrasco is the Advocacy and Research Coordinator at Coalition for Home Repair. She holds a BA and M.Sc. from the University of California (Irvine and Davis, respectively), where her love of housing advocacy flourished. Before working at the Coalition, Emma worked as a County Planner. She brings over 5 years of experience in the non-profit sector — most notably, serving the homeless population through housing placements and retention services. Emma is excited to continue working towards a more equitable future where housing is affordable and accessible for all.
Emma is from Southern California, but now lives in Western New York with her husband and dog. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, going to coffee shops, and exploring new places.
