- The Coalition intends to pursue PRICE funds, offered by HUD to repair and replace manufactured housing. Interested members should register for the interest webinar on Thursday, April 2nd.
- The Coalition announced 3 new member product discounts to QGiv, Bloomerang, and Bloomerang Volunteer. Additional details will be provided soon.
- The Coalition shared notable advocacy opportunities such as:
- We are calling on all Members of Congress to fund at least $4.2 billion in CDBG funding for FY2025, which would be an increase of 900 million dollars.
-
Senators John Fetterman and Cynthia Lummis introduced the Whole Home Repairs Act in the U.S. Senate – this bipartisan bill would establish a national five-year pilot program supporting homeowners with critical home repairs. We have submitted a meeting request with Senator John Fetterman to express our support for the Whole Home Repairs Act. We will continue closely monitoring this legislation and plan to provide advocacy resources and opportunities for members and partners.
If your organization still needs to submit a 2024 Impact Report, please do so by Friday, March 29th. Your data helps us advocate on behalf of members and track trends in the home repair space! Access Impact Report instructions here.
If you are unsure whether your organization has submitted a report, please e-mail Emma at emma@coalitionforhomerepair.org.
Members who submit a completed Impact Report by March 29th will also have access to a more detailed analysis of Impact Report data, to be shared in April.
