Announcing our 2025 board class
Johnson City, T.N. – Coalition for Home Repair has elected new board officers and members for the upcoming year.
The new officers are Dave Kelley as board chair; Deanne Everton as vice-chair, Lisa Davis as treasurer and finance chair, and Allyson Petry as the secretary and governance chair. All four team members have experience working with Coalition members in executive roles and serving on committees.
Kelley is the Senior Vice President of Development at Appalachia Service Project. Everton is the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley. Davis is a Chief Program Officer at Servants, Inc. Petry is an Individual Gifts Officer for Friends of the Mississippi River.
In addition, the Coalition voted in four new board members Devita Davison, Director, Economic Mobility Innovative Initiatives & Partnerships at Feeding America, Jennifer Johnson, Executive Director at Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity, Inc., Ben Newhouse, Project Coordinator, Regional Intergovernmental Council in West Virginia, and Kim Gore, Homeowner Services Coordinator, WARM NC.
“We are confident that these new leaders and members will help us achieve our strategic goals this year and beyond,” said Freyja Harris, Coalition for Home Repair Chief Executive Officer. “Our leadership represents our diversity in skill, geographic location, and experience. I am grateful for their volunteerism and advocacy for home repair nonprofits nationwide.”

The Coalition for Home Repair promotes the preservation of safe, healthy, affordable housing for all by supporting the work of home repair and rehabilitation partners nationwide. We provide funding, advocacy, and educational resources to ensure the preservation of safe, healthy, affordable housing. Since its founding in 2013, Coalition members have completed more than 120,000 home repair projects at nearly 55,000 homes in 38 states, improving the quality of life for about 150,000 people.
