Recording of a webinar about how home repair nonprofits are responding to COVID-19. The first 45 minutes is for camp-model groups and the second 45 minutes is for home repair programs of different models, such as local volunteers. We discussed various volunteer fee refund options (most are keeping a portion of the deposits if the volunteers cancel), and everyone is hoping that the summer volunteer programs are able to occur as that's when most camp-model groups receive most of their revenue. We also talked about ways to check on staff and to use good self-care. We talked a bit about advocacy and how new legislation might help nonprofits. We also discussed fundraising a bit - most folks are delaying that.
