ReFrame Conference 2021: Construction Workforce Development - ARC POWER Grant & HDA Case Study

This workshop is intended for participants of the ReFrame Construction Workforce Development Cohort that is being funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). 

In this two-hour session, we'll look at the ARC POWER Initiative grant that can fund construction workforce development programs, and hear a case study of a program funded by this grant.

Scott McReynolds, Executive Director at Housing Development Alliance in Hazard, Kentucky will join us in-person, along with Shannon Gabbard, Program Director. Scott wrote the ARC grant that funded the launch of their Hope Building workforce development program. One hour will be about the ARC POWER Initiative grant and the other will be about their program model. We'll take a short break in the middle.

There will be an option to join via Zoom, and the workshop will be recorded. Becca Davis will be moderating the workshop and hosting the Zoom livestream. Those who are attending in-person are invited to stay afterward for a BBQ dinner (vegetarian option available) at the hotel with our cohort and the workshop presenters.
