Walter Crouch, President/CEO of Appalachia Service Project, gave a thirty-minute closing speech, "Start with the End in Mind" at ReFrame Conference.

The focus of the address was on the quality of outcomes rather than just the quantity of outputs. From annual budgets to long-range strategic plans, focus on outcomes should be intentional and not ancillary to the standard focus on efficient productivity. With greater scrutiny on the effectiveness of non-profits in the current environment, producing quality outcomes is crucial.
