ReFrame Conference 2021: Local Government Funding

In this session, you'll hear from nonprofit peers and local government employees about how best to partners to access funding for home repair projects.
Jessic McMurray will moderate this session. She is the Community Development Planner for the City of Kingsport, Tennessee and the former Assistant Director of Construction at Eastern Eight Community Development Corporation.
Steve Baldwin, Community Development Coordinator for the City of Johnson City, has a long history of partnering with the Appalachia Service Project. He will share about his experience and suggestions for forming funding parnterships with local governments that benefit both parties.
Chuck Morris, Executive Director of Mission Serve, will speak about the MOUs that his nonprofit has with the cities of Chattanooga, TN; Huntington, WV; and Mobile, AL. That is in addition to the 20+ other city and local partners they have around the U.S.
Megan Taylor, Executive Director of Sierra Service Project, will join us virtually to talk about the funding that SSP has received from the City of Rancho Cordova in the past 6 years.
Melanie Campbell will moderate the session and host the Zoom livestream.
